Stora Enso, the 7bn paper manufacturing group, has lifted the lid on a new corporate identity created jointly by Diefenbach Elkins Davies Baron and ad agency Hasan & Partners of Helsinki. Both consultancies are members of Interpublic Group of Companies.

The identity will be implemented throughout 1999. The client company is the result of last year’s merger between Finnish group Enso and the Swedish Stora group.

“We have preserved the names of the two companies while uniting our worldwide operations,” says Stora Enso chief executive officer Jukka Härmälä. “This new logo signals to the world that we are a company that synchronises production and innovation to better serve the needs of all our customers,” he adds.
