Financial PR giant Citigate is going through a period of internal reflection after a corporate-naming debate with recent acquisition Dewe Rogerson revealed a significant home truth.

During the discussions, the Citigate bigwigs insisted that its name should precede whichever moniker is chosen for the new acquisition.

After all, the bigwigs argued, that’s the system Citigate has used with its other subsidiaries and so, for reasons of consistency, it makes sense to do it here as well.

What about Lloyd Northover Citigate piped up a Dewe Rogerson representative?

That name too, is now under investigation.
