Axis Design Europe has redesigned the London showroom of furniture manufacturer Staverton, which reopens on 15 June.

Staverton has also revealed long-term plans to build its presence in Europe (it already has a showroom in Milan) and move into the US. However, there are no “firm plans” as yet, says Staverton marketing manager Anna Josiffe.

The group could be awarded follow-up work, according to Axis Design partner Jeremy Harvey.

Axis has reworked the entire shell of the 111m2 space and final modifications are being implemented before work is unveiled.

“We have also designed special lighting, a steel reception desk and a base where travelling salespeople can work from,” says Harvey.

The showroom interiors have been created to illustrate the manufacturer’s “new ideas and ways of working”, according to Josiffe.
