Lower goes amicably

Chris Lower has left as creative director of one of Design House’s two packaging design arms. Frances Lovell, former creative director of the other pack arm, will take responsibility for the now-unified unit.

Lower’s departure from the consultancy after 14 years, was described as ‘an amicable separation,’ by Lou Burrows, head of client services. Lower is unavailable for comment.

Lower’s departure is the latest in a succession of senior changes at Design House. Alan Fender, print and identity creative director, was replaced by Peter Rae, formerly head of Leo Burnett’s design department in Hong Kong. Sue Wheldon joined the group in December and heads up the retail and leisure arm.
