Davenport-Firth is to leave CPB

Coley Porter Bell chairman David Davenport-Firth is to leave the group at the end of the month to become executive creative director at Shire Health Group.

His departure will come just over four months after former chief executive officer Amanda Connolly, pregnant with her second child, left the consultancy.

Davenport-Firth, who joined the consultancy as visual planning director in 1997 and was promoted to chairman last year, will not be replaced as chairman, says Coley Porter Bell chief executive officer Cheryl Giovannoni.

Davenport-Firth’s departure marks the final stages of the consultancy’s reorganisation.
