The Home Collection; Play as it Lays; Illustration; Cocktails with Arne

The Home Collection, over 80 works by 19 British artists situated in a family house, begins on 17 March and will be open every Thursday. The collection of painting, sculpture, ceramics and drawings will change regularly. Sculptor Elizabeth Wright is presenting an architectural scale inverted model of the house at Outside home until 15 September.

London-based artists Declan Clarke and Paul McDevitt challenged themselves to go to Los Angeles without any prior contacts or information, to find 17 artists in seven days to participate in a London exhibition. See the results at Play as it Lays from 14 March-13 April.

Venue: The London Institute Gallery, John Islip Street, Millbank, London SW1.

Illustration students from Central St Martin’s School of Art and Design show their work until 15 March. The event will incorporate drawing, painting, animation, moving image and photography.

Venue: Colville Place Gallery, Colville Place, London W1.

The centenary birth of Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen is celebrated with an installation of stainless steel products he designed in the 1950s-60s at Cocktails with Arne until 7 May.
