Allen International broadens Mrs Bridges’ appeal

More than 100 different product varieties under the Mrs Bridges brand have been repackaged by Allen International to appeal to a wider audience.

The consultancy has also modernised the identity for the high quality speciality food brand. Mrs Bridges is sold domestically and abroad and includes gift-packed tea, coffee, preserves, savoury sauces, cookies and sweets.

The new packaging features a colour-coded floral motif based on a traditional hedgerow, and a new glass jar design.

“We needed to modernise, while maintaining the brand’s traditional values,” says Stewart McBride, managing director of Hudson’s International which owns Mrs Bridges. The products are currently going into retail outlets.
