Hong Kong gets new City Flyer bus service

Lloyd Northover Citigate in Hong Kong has created the name and identity for a new luxury airport coach service.

Cityflyer is operated by Citybus in Hong Kong and competes with the MTR Airport Express Train, along with other bus operators.

“It was important that the new brand had the visual impact and dynamism to stand out effectively from its competitors,” says LNC regional director Michael Ip.

The name is intended to suggest a link to the new airport at Chek Lap Kok in July.

“The crossbar of the f hints at the curved roofscape of the airport terminal,” says an LNC spokesman.
