Prickly pair of victims

Landor’s recently appointed European director of communications, Deborah Fitzgerald, is under the weather at the moment, after a close encounter with the natural world.

‘I was attacked by a giant cactus,’ she reports. Fitzgerald is now nursing a sore shoulder and foot from the incident. Details of the X Files-worthy attack are in short supply. ‘It was surreal,’ is all Fitzgerald can remember.

The attack follows previous cactus assaults on members of the design community. Last October an unidentified, but muscular, staff member of Lloyd Northover Citigate was assaulted by a 700 cactus as the group celebrated its union with Bass Yager.
