Early Learning Centre adopts new characters

The Early Learning Centre’s flagship shop on London’s Kensington High Street has in-store characters, signage and graphics by Knox Associates in Leicester. Original concept work was by New York designer James Mansour of Mansour Design who also created branding and interiors.

“We avoided twee,” says Knox principle Martin Knox of the characters. “They are friendly but not too cute and have a bit of an edge to them.” The characters also appear at a smaller site in Bromley and may be applied to the chain’s 200 outlets, depending on the success of the pilots.
