Heavenly hoax receives no praise from above

Adrian Burton’s letter last week illustrating his eieio burgers device, although amusing, was surely a hoax, and as such mildly irritating. His illustration consists simply of our Church of England symbol distorted on the Mac. I know this because the device is hand-drawn and when distorted to the same angle as Mr Burton’s device, the fit is exact.

I sympathise with what he is getting at – too much recent plagiarism – but wish he would not use our work to make his point. I should add that the symbol was designed some 18 months ago.
