Manchester-based consultancy Fathom has created a poster campaign for the city’s Contact Theatre to promote its latest production You Hang Up First, which was written and directed by Dana Fainaru. There are two versions of a two-colour poster, designed and photographed by Fathom director Anthony Roberts, along with A5 flyers and four postcards to publicise the play, which runs from 22 November to 7 December. Huw Thomas, another Fathom director, says, ‘In conventional theatre posters, the name of the production is subsumed by the image. Given the under-30s audience, we’ve taken a more graphically led approach.’
