Phileas Fogg’s new tortilla chips hit the shelves nationwide this week after a drastic packaging overhaul by Siebert Head.
The chips are now housed in pyramid-shaped packs, emulating the shape of tortillas and enabling the product to stand upright. The wide opening encourages sharing.
Siebert Head 3D team head Sean Fortune explains the decision to change the shape: ‘You go to the pub, buy a pint and a bag of crisps and rip the pack open to share with your friends. It was simple enough, but it triggered a thought pattern that developed into creating a pyramid-shaped pack.’
