Enterprise IG has created the brand, name, corporate identity and website for a central on-line marketplace for the global energy and petrochemical industry.
The venture, called Trade-Ranger, which goes live this month, is backed by some of the world’s largest energy and petrochemical companies, including: Royal Dutch/ Shell, BP, TotalFinaElf, The Dow Chemical Company, Conoco, Motiva Enterprises, Occidental Petroleum, Equilon Enterprises, Phillips Petroleum, Mitsubishi Corporation, Repsol YPF, Statoil, Unocal and Tosco.
It aims to simplify the way in which the sector buys and sells produce, providing a neutral platform for companies to exchange energy goods and services. It will be available to all companies and hopes to significantly cut costs.
Enterprise IG creative director Stuart Redfern says: “The Trade-Ranger solution demanded simplicity and stature in a crowded marketplace. Trade-Ranger does not need the animation gimmicks found on many websites. A little bit of restraint goes a long way to communicating what this brand stands for.”
