The interface between education and the creative industries is a one-day conference held on 28 September, from 10.30am until 5pm. The event is supported by Scottish Enterprise, The Design Council and The National Endowment for Science Technology and Arts.

The lecture Wolfgang Weingart: 40 Years of Typography will take place on 25 September at 6.30pm. The event is presented by the London College of Printing and the International Society of Typographic Designers. Tickets are £10 for non-members, £8 for members and £5 for students.

The second of the Bamber Forsyth e-plc seminar series will be introduced by PricewaterhouseCoopers consultant Lynn Shepherd. The seminar will examine the dilemmas facing plcs and explore the differences between a plc website and an e-plc website.
