But interior designer Callum Lumsden was distinctly non-plussed by the eight-page feature, which referred to him throughout as Denys. ‘Maybe I didn’t make a big enough impression on the journalist,’ says Lumsden, ‘or perhaps Frame has confused sub-editors.’ The race is on to identify the mystery Denys: distinguished British architect Sir Denys Lasden is the obvious choice, but Lumsden may have been mistaken for cheeky schoolboy Dennis the Menace or, more worryingly, Margaret Thatcher’s better half.
