PSD does office job for Esselte

Office products company Esselte is launching a new sub-brand designed by PSD Associates.

Tag-It! is a range of brightly coloured stationery aimed at the teenage, small office and home office markets. The south London design consultancy has created scissors, a stapler, a hole punch, a staple remover and a ruler in a translucent material with a curvaceous style to appeal to varied international markets. Each item has a panel for the owner to write their name on.

PSD director of product design Chris McCleave says the challenge was to appeal to all Esselte’s markets across four continents.

“Through careful choice of colour and product styling the designs clearly reach both the student and small office/ home office audiences,” he explains.
