ORGANIC produce manufacturer Infinity Foods has introduced a rebranded look for its entire foods range, with new labelling created by Hove consultancy Langrish.

The design had changed little in 30 years. The manufacturer sees the repackaging as part of a strategy to produce a standard, recognisable brand under the same label to capitalise on the growing organic food market.

Industry body The Soil Association reports organic food sales as experiencing an annual growth of 40 per cent, with estimated sales of 350m in 1998. The Association predicts that the organic food market will account for 7-8 per cent of the total food market, with a potential retail value of over 1bn, by 2002.

Langrish has produced packs which differentiate the individual Natural and Organic health food ranges, using a blue sky and sun image respectively. The new labels will be carried on one style of clear bag in a variety of sizes.
