Swallow takes off with new logo

NEWCASTLE design and public relations consultancy Gardiner Richardson has created a new identity for leisure group Swallow.

The new logo, which features a final marque drawn by illustrator Andrew Davidson, is intended to mark the start of an exciting era for Swallow, which plans to enlarge the portfolio of its hotels, inns and restaurants business.

According to Gardiner Richardson design director Darren Richardson says the concept for the new identity is based on the leisure group’s future prospects.

“The new logo takes a more positive approach, with the swallow flying upwards through the clouds,” he says.

“The swallow is retained in the circle of clouds and the fact that it is soaring represents the future aspirations of the Swallow Group as it sets out the plans for its future.”

Swallow has yet to release exact details of its proposed expansion.
