Yoghurt for brains

Putting a story together on Yoplait Dairy Crest’s new identity has curdled a few brains in the Design Week office. To go with the story of the Springett’s new Yoplait marque for the 2 April issue, we requested a copy of the logo. A disc arrived bearing an image of a tall inhabitant of the Serengeti. Something fishy, we thought, and duly rang Springetts. Someone explained that the beast was not connected to yoghurt but to a recent schools project, and we should use any one of the three Yoplait logos on the disc.

Oh dear, we picked the one logo on the disc which was never going to appear as the Yoplait logo. So in order to satisfy everyone’s curiosity, here is the real logo and the two gatecrashers.
