Fall Off The Wall tailors a brand and guidelines for The Hat Factory

Luton design consultancy Fall Off The Wall has completed the branding and guidelines for The Hat Factory, a local creative community that is being launched next week.

Set on the premises of a disused hat warehouse in Luton, the scheme is the brainchild of entrepreneur Andy Grays. The project has received backing from Luton Borough Council and Arts Council East England.

According to Fall Off The Wall director Justin Douglas, ‘They asked us to come up with a really creative logo that’s aimed at the local community as well as the business community, because The Hat Factory is looking to hold workshops and classes based around dance, theatre and drama for the public.’

The local design consultancy has created a set of brand guidelines for the creative hub, as well as the launch programme, some merchandise, some badges and shirts for the staff.

The Hat Factory includes a wide cross-section of creative businesses, including fashion designers, computer games companies, film companies and an arts funding group.

Fall Off The Wall was appointed to the job in January.
