Rugby’s governing body, The International Rugby Board based in Ireland, has appointed Design Bridge to create a new identity for the organisation.
The project will also involve the group branding The Rugby World Cup event.
“We are creating a contemporary look for the new identity, which will be in keeping with this popular sport,” says Design Bridge creative director Tim Perkins.
Design Bridge was recently appointed by the Football Association to revamp its brands and position initiatives it has planned for this year. It has also designed the World Cup ’98 football for Adidas (DW 19 December 1997).
