Head First looks at the changing face of contemporary portraiture, from the unknown to the famous. The 31 portraits on display celebrate the continuing vitality of this art form, and explore diverse approaches and styles. From 17 January-28 February.

Framing Madness features two separate exhibitions by the artists Aidan Shingler and Julia Saltiel. The exhibitions explore the experience of schizophrenia. A one-day conference on 17 January, Couching Art, explores the relationship between visual art and mental illness. The exhibition runs until 13 February.
