Staff at Roundel are predicting a Lottery syndicate win. “The Partners had one. Why can’t we have one?” a source has been heard to ask. Anonymous predictions include one that Michael Portillo will be appointed a non-executive director of Imagination, and that Newell and Sorrell will consolidate its various divisions and change its name “to something silly, like Diageo”.
