Rodney Fitch & Company is working on a holistic design and identity project for the Shangri-La Plaza in Manila, the Philippines.
Spread over seven levels, the venue is the premier aspirational shopping centre in the Filipino capital.
Both the London and Hong Kong offices of Rodney Fitch will work on the project, which is due to have its first stage completed by October.
The centre’s frontage will be completely redesigned, with the introduction of a new lighting system and the new corporate identity.
Internally, a directional signage system is being developed to assist navigation.
Rodney Fitch senior associate Alan Thompson says: “Shangri La, by definition, is a place of physical and mental settlement – both soothing and stimulating. We endorsed this through bold creative design imagery.”
