Top groups win BIMA Awards

The British Interactive Multimedia Association Awards 2000 has produced several high profile design winners. Nykris Digital Design took two awards at the event last Friday.

The British Interactive Multimedia Association Awards 2000 has produced several high profile design winners.

Nykris Digital Design took two awards at the event last Friday. It won the UFI award for Home Learning with its Tweenies – Ready to Play CD, designed with BBC Worldwide Multimedia, and was joint winner of the Digit Award for best use of design/ creativity off-line. Its Malcolm McLaren installation at the Bonnefantan Museum, Maastricht tied with Tomato Interactive’s self-promotional project.

The award for News Information went to Digit and its G-Wizz website for Granada Media, www.g-wizz.net. The IBM award for new business-focused service on-line went to Deepend London for its FT QuickTime TV channel.

Other winners included German Web group Pixelpark’s www.hugo.com website for the P&G fragrance and BMP Interaction for its Sony banner advertising campaign.
