A strategy group looking at ways to reinvigorate the Chartered Society of Designers is to put proposals to the CSD’s annual general meeting on 25 June.
With strong input from the regions, the strategy group has been “looking at plans for the society’s future”, says regional chair Frank Peters. “There are initiatives to come out of this and we will put them forward at the AGM.”
Peters declines to reveal any specific proposals at this stage. But a source close to the CSD’s executive says changes in the way the society operates are needed to “get it up and running again”.
The CSD’s director Brian Lymbery has been on sick leave for the past four weeks.
