Spanish photographer Igor Emmerich was commissioned by The Team to take grainy black and white shots reflecting the work of the Institute of Personnel and Development for its latest annual report. The seven selected images are intended to symbolise the institute’s work in research, policy development, influence, professional standards and communication. This is the third consecutive year The Team has designed the report.

The Wessex Water in-house design team uses the work of freelance illustrator Steven Appleby for its new company environmental report. The illustrations feature aliens

sent down to repair the Earth and have previously appeared in The Guardian. ‘They [the aliens] say exactly what we are saying, which is, “Hey! It’s time to stop and think what we are doing to the environment”,’ says a Wessex Water spokeswoman. The report is due to be sent out to stakeholders and environmental groups next week.
