Incepta Group chairman Bob Morton says subsidiary Lloyd Northover Citigate has contributed a “disappointing level of profit” to the company in the six months until 31 August.

Writing in Incepta’s interim report, Morton says the merger between LNC and Dewe Rogerson Group’s design arm “will accelerate the development of the group in key marketplaces”.

Incepta recently acquired Dewe Rogerson and will subsume it into LNC (DW 2 October). Incepta’s design and publishing arm saw growth of 7 per cent from 2.8m for the six months ending 31 August 1997, to 3m over the same period this year.

Meanwhile, LNC has appointed Jo Clarke as managing director, Asia Pacific. She takes over from Michael Ip, who is returning to Landor after four years with LNC.
