The first prize in this year’s Braun Prize for young designers has been awarded to Jens Andersson from the Institute of Design, Umea University, Sweden. His product design, Rescue Buoy, is a swimming robot designed to monitor hazardous seas and alert coastguards to potential rescue situations.
