Redjacket is seeking to fill director post

Ten-strong London design group Redjacket is seeking a new-business director capable of carrying out a managing director- style role, following the departure of head of marketing Simon Jordan.

Jordan, who previously handled new business for the consultancy, left Redjacket last week to join advertising think-tank Magic Hat. “It was entirely amicable,” says principal partner Martyn Bullock. “Simon was keen to try something in the mainstream advertising field, and we were looking for someone to take on a managing director role.”

Candidates from outside traditional design groups are being considered for the post in a bid to bring in wider thinking. An appointment is expected shortly.

Redjacket is currently competing with Fitch and Crabtree Hall/Plan Créatif to create a worldwide retail environment for ice-cream brand Häagen Dazs (DW 20 March).
