Zuji identity by Landor and LKS

Landor Associates and its Australian affiliate LKS Design, has created the identity for Zuji, an on-line travel agency for the Asia Pacific region.

The consultancies won the project following a three-way pitch with Enterprise IG and Interbrand.

Formerly Travel Exchange Asia, an interim name, Zuji will be launched early next year as a joint venture between 11 regional airlines including Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines and Ansett, as well as the global travel business Travelocity.com.

The name Zuji, which derives from the Mandarin for footprint, was created by Landor’s naming consultants over three months.

The logo design is based on an eastward-pointing arrow, symbolising movement, travel and discovery across Asia Pacific.
