Blue Goose Design has branded a new fragrance launched by Michael Caine’s wife, Shakira. Reflecting her British Guyana roots, the the identity and packaging for the scent reflects eastern culture. ‘We chose a lotus flower for the logo to symbolise the four womanly virtues of scent, purity, softness and loveliness,’ explains Blue Goose project manager Donna Christie. ‘The simple, but elegant perfume bottle is packed in a hand-finished presentation box wrapped in silk, while the lotus flower is a shade of terracotta, with Shakira’s name and signature foiled in gold.’
