Live work recruits as equity partner funds expansion plans

London service design consultancy Live work has sold a small undisclosed stake of its equity to Pembridge Partners, a business accelerator.

The service design and innovation consultancy, which specialises in building service offers for clients including the BBC, Sony Ericsson, Fiat, Egg and Macmillan Cancer Relief, will use the investment to embark on a growth strategy.

Live work is planning to open an office in New York later this year, having just opened one in Newcastle. ‘We are also actively recruiting in a bid to extend our skill portfolio,’ says a spokeswoman for the group.

Rose Lewis, partner at Pembridge Partners, will take a non-executive directorship at the consultancy.
