2000 heralds second coming for C of E logo

The Church of England has returned to the creator of its controversial logo, The Jenkins Group, for an update to celebrate the millennium. A case of better the devil you know, perhaps?

And what, pray tell, does the church have in store for the year 2000 festivities? A holy wheel perhaps, virtual nativity, or a massive exhibition celebrating 2000 years since the coming of Christ on a derelict site by the Thames… oh no, that’s already being done by the High Millennium Commission Church.

One thing’s for sure, the partying is bound to upset some of the flock. Traditionalists have already opposed the Church’s Episcopal cross identity launched in November.

But please, no more plagiarism letters. Just remember that commandment about coveting.
