A major exhibition has been launched in Abu Dhabi and will tour around the Gulf region. It is the first work of new design consultancy Allen Lebon, together with 3D design group Material. The exhibition, From Trucial States to Federation, celebrates the 25th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates and is sponsored by BP and the British Embassy. The brief called for the exhibition to document 2000 years of history, using rare photographs, maps and paintings with text in both Arabic and English. The exhibition uses three different sizes of coloured banner to represent the sands, buildings and skies typical of the UAE.

Chesham consultancy Box Design commissioned Christopher Corr to design a series of illustrations for a new brochure for Australian airline Qantas. Each illustration celebrates one of the locations Qantas flies to and each spread within the brochure is dedicated to a specific leisure product, such as the Qantas Boomerang Pass, available for connecting flights down under.
