The demerger of British Gas has resulted in what is thought to be the largest mailout yet of demerger packs in the country – in more ways than one. Fishburn Hedges, designer of the demerger document packs, helpfully points out that each one weighs two thirds of a kilo, “and when posted through a letter box should kill any cat it lands on”.
