Casio creates two new products

Aiming to break the boundaries of watch technology, Casio’s in-house design team has created two new products which hit UK shelves in July.

The designs feature an MP3 player and camera respectively.

The WQV-1 claims to be the world’s first wrist camera, recording and displaying up to 100 monochrome images which can be viewed on the watch’s 120×120 dot screen, then downloaded on to a PC.

Casio is claiming a world first with the WMP-1, featuring a wrist-worn MP3 format file player with the capacity to download music from the Internet.

Weighing 70g, the watch can store up to 33 minutes of CD quality sounds or an hour of FM broadcast level sound in its memory and has four hours playback.
