Martin Cox started his career at Williams & Phoa in 1989. He met Giff while working at Trickett & Webb. Both left Trickett & Webb in 1996 to found graphics and identity consultancy Blast. Blast is already making it on the awards circuit for its creative work, not least in the Design Week Awards.

    Martin Cox took his own life in Slovakia this week on Monday the 10th of August 2009.

    Martin Cox died this week on Monday the 10th of August 2009. He had been living in Slovakia and was married with a young daughter. Martin was a wonderful kind man, a great designer, father, husband and friend to us all . May he rest in peace.
