PR industry closes ranks to recover lost coat

The mystery owner of the ‘black, teddy-bearish, fraggly scraggly and looks pretty cheap’ coat who mislaid it at the recent Design Week awards, has claimed the item through an intermediary.

Having suggested the lady may be involved in PR, it was perhaps no coincidence that the boss of PR company Mandarin, Nick Bowman, phoned us on Thursday morning saying he knew the identity of the owner, but refused to disclose her name.

‘It’s nobody from Mandarin, nor a client, but she’s too embarrassed to phone up herself,’ claims the tight-lipped Bowman. ‘I’m just acting as a guardian angel.’
