Tayburn comes of age

Congratulations must go out to Scottish design group Tayburn on the occasion of its 21st birthday this month.

With six specialist teams now under the Tayburn umbrella, the Edinburgh consultancy has built an impressive client list.

It even won a Design Company of the 1990s title in December, following a readers poll in a Scottish media and design magazine. But with so much achieved since its birth in the late 1970s, surely the onset of its 22nd year suggests that now is the time it may go off the rails, as life really starts for the precocious youngster.
