Buchanan site goes with flow of Resource

Resource Design has revamped the website of transport, traffic and planning consultancy Colin Buchanan and Partners.

The site, www.cbuchanan.co.uk, which launched last weekend, has been completely rebuilt and redesigned. The consultancy has also taken the visual styling of the site through to print advertising.

One of the principle objectives for revamping the site is the need to attract more graduates to the company, says Colin Buchanan and Partners research and marketing officer Rob McCulloch, who led the project.

‘We needed a better Web presence. Graduate recruitment is one of the main objectives of the site, and we also need to let potential clients know what we’re all about,’ says McCulloch.

The consultancy has introduced a secondary set of corporate colours to sit with the main logo, and it is these colours that have been taken across into print advertising, says Resource Design director Ian Firth.

‘This is a major overhaul of the site. As well as another set of corporate colours, we have introduced new photography for the recruitment section,’ he says.

The consultancy, which was appointed in March, won the work via a three-way credentials pitch.

Colin Buchanan and Partners is involved in all aspects of town planning, including the redesign of town centres and road schemes. Its clients, which come from the private and public sectors, include Transport for London.
