Tayburn Group sets up annual report division

Scottish consultancy Tayburn Group has set up a new division, Tayburn Corporate. It will offer “London quality and regional prices” in the annual report sector, says its managing director, Alastair Brown.

Brown was previously a director at Tayburn McIlroy Coates.

“Ours is the first response from a Scottish design group to what has been happening in London, but [until now] no one has had the critical mass to do it,” says Brown.

Tayburn Corporate’s two design teams are headed by creative director Andrew Wolffe, who formerly held the same position with TMcC, and design director Cate Studwell, who has worked at Holmes & Marchant.

“We will be looking to expand if the business takes off. Our main attack is the market in the north of the UK,” Brown adds.

TMcC is headed up by Simon Norris. It used to handle annual reports but will now concentrate on corporate and brand identities, marketing literature and 3D design. TMcC creative director Bryan Hook is looking to build up a third design team.
