One of the perks of working on British Airways’ flagship Concorde is that you get to fly on that prestigious plane. Factory directors Adam White, Adrian Berry and Peter Tennent recently flew to New York on an executive day trip.
The fab three were in good company on their jaunt, with Tara Palmer-Tomkinson snoozing away in premier class on the outward flight and star boxer Prince Naseem Hamed checking in on the way back.
But it was the quality of the hospitality that most impressed White. Concorde’s wine list is, it seems, seriously impressive.
The things designers endure in the name of research.
