CADA adds glamour to Ponti’s eateries

Italian bistro chain Ponti’s is set to launch a new identity and interiors, designed by catering specialist CADA design group. Its Covent Garden site will be the first to be restyled.

The look will be an update of the existing Italian feel, drawing on the strong colour references while introducing subtle new tones. “Ponti’s is a well established high street brand,” says CADA group director, David Callcott. “We are redesigning the interiors to try to put some contemporary glamour into Ponti’s reputation for quality.”

The company is looking to expand the chain nationally, but no new sites are yet confirmed.

Ponti’s has London premises in Maddox Street, Duke Street and Liverpool Street Station, as well as a number of restaurants in shopping centres, including Bluewater in Kent, Harlequin in Watford and Centre Court in Wimbledon.

CADA has also been appointed to renovate the two Caffè Italia coffee shops also owned by Ponti’s. They are located in London’s Victoria and Reading.
