Stowells of Chelsea is launching a six-strong range of 75cl bottled wines next month, designed by branding and packaging specialist Robson Dowry Associates. It is a significant move for Stowells, which has previously packaged wine in the boxed format. The flanged bottles will carry a two-piece split label with details adapted from the boxed range. ‘A crucial element of the brief was to create a bottle design that would create an obvious link with the boxed format,’ says a Robson Dowry spokeswoman.
Curated by Sea Design, the exhibition focuses on the geometric identity created by consultancy Roundel, which was used on British Rail’s freight trains in the 1980s and 1990s.
