Glasgow scoops prizes

Glasgow School of Art has swept the board in the Fitch/ Amtico student interior design awards for the third year running.

Second-year student John Gigli won the top prize of 1000 and a month’s paid placement at Fitch, while Toni Ghani, also from Glasgow, was highly commended and netted 500. The college was awarded a further 1500.

Gigli and Ghani were among 18 finalists from six colleges, who were asked to create a retail scheme for an airport.
