It’s not winning, its the prize that counts

Designers have been on their bikes again, this time raising money for Mencap. Katie Phillipson of Habitat, freelance Louise Yates and Thomas Hewitt of Liverpool multimedia company Amaze put in 500km along the Nile last month. While the scenery comprised mostly sand, the trio have picked up a few design ideas from their travels. Hewitt for one says he has ‘a head full of hieroglyphics’.
