Sunbather to act as guide round BT site

BT is hoping to cut the level of calls to its Internet service’s helplines with a redesign by Sunbather of its “walled garden” website for subscribers to BT Internet.

The website, which only registered users can access, contains several “community” areas but it is the help pages which Sunbather is aiming to make more comprehensive and user friendly.

Sunbather producer Matt Jones says: “BT wants to reduce the load on the help call centres by making the Internet site so easy to use people will get help on-line. So we are putting easier navigation and stronger design into what is a very large site.”

Sunbather is looking to develop the project beyond the current stage and is talking to BT about making the site more interactive.
