Timothy Guy wins power job

Timothy Guy Design is designing National Grid’s shareholder communications package, including the annual report. The Truro consultancy won through a 12-way, three-stage pitch.

With a turnover of 1.4bn, National Grid has close to a million shareholders and the 500 000 project is worth almost 200 000 in design fees to Timothy Guy Design.

The pitch list was reduced, via a credentials presentation and an analysis of the consultancies’ project management skills, to a shortlist of four before an unpaid creative pitch left Timothy Guy Design with the project.

The National Grid annual report and accounts are due to be published in June. The project also includes other literature work. The consultancy is looking to recruit up to four new staff to tackle the project.
